BOXABL is a private company, started out by a father and son in 2017. Now, the innovative manufacturer partners with America’s largest homebuilder D.R. Horton and has 3 factories in Las Vegas, Nevada!
BOXABL CASITA
The Casita is a larger and more premium modular house, starting from $60,000 for a fully equipped home.
Currently, the ‘Studio Casita’, measuring 361 square feet (approx. 34 square meters), is available for shipping in 15 states. Those include Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
The one and two bedroom Casitas, however, can be shipped only in California, for now.
BOXABL BABY BOX
Just like the Casita, the much smaller Baby Box comes complete with everything you need! Baby Box also has a battery, water and waste tanks, allowing for comfortable off-grid usage.
The internal floor area of the Baby Box is 120 square feed (about 11 square meters), requiring a pull-out bed (also included).
Baby Box is priced at $30,000, but BOXABL are currently offering it at an introductory price of just $19.999, with funding available too!
The substantial difference between the Casita and Baby Box, however, is not that much the price and size, even though the latter is 3 times smaller. What makes Baby Box by BOXABLE such a hit, is the fact that it’s classified as an RV (Recreational Vehicle), because it comes on wheels. This eliminates the need for a construction permit, as well as any land ownership.
Furthermore, Baby Box is designed so it can be folded in and out hundreds of times, requiring just an hour to do so by a single person with no special tools!
